• Assisting DGM–Plant Head in all production and administration angle, producing bi-metallic strips and copper powder to out
sister concerns to produce connecting rod bearings and bush bearings, thrust washers for all automobile engines
• Managing the production in the absence of Plant Head and participating in long term settlement with the union
• Liaising with all govt. organization to meet the industrial standards fixed by govt. organizations

o 2 X 860 KVA SKODA Diesel Generators, 1000 KVA Kirloskar D.G Set, and 608 KVA SKODA DG Set
o 3 x 300 CFM Screw compressor-ELGI MAKE
o PSA Plant for ammonia cracking for maintaining the reducing atmosphere at sintering furnaces
o High pressure pump, slurry pump, drier and Induction melting furnaces of powder plant for copper powder plant
o Mechanical evaporator for prevent land contamination by lead mixed with powder plant reject water by using exhaust
gas temperature of DG Sets

Significant Accomplishments
• Introduced Teflon packing in furnace rolls to restrict the entry of atmosphere air in to the sintering furnace with aim of
rejection control
• Replaced:
o 100 Watts bulbs by 11 watts CFL lamps-saving of 7776 units/annum
o 250 Watts halogen bulbs by 100 watts CFL bulb with savings of 12960 units/annum
• Modified:
o 20 HP circulation pump with 10 Hp for the same strip cleaning operation
o Jack shaft drive from 15 HP to 5 HP-saving of 3 x 64800 Units/Annum
o Rolling mill drive with VFD –saving of 42336 Units/Annum
• Eliminated cooling towers by localizing the quench unit of the sinter line with savings of 5000 Ltrs. of water per day
• Collaborated with senior management team like Whole Time Director, Vice President, CFO and so on to recommend to the
senior management with policies and standards and practices that fulfill in the most effective manner the operational goals
of the company
• Recognised for leading operational & maintenance activities such as erection and commissioning of new plant right from the
conceptualization stage to the execution, involving finalization of technical specifications, progress monitoring, costing, site

Cost Savings
• Played a key role in managing cost savings projects like:
o Modification of Jack shaft drive from 15 HP to 5 HP-saving of 3 x 64800 units/annum, rolling mill drive with VFD –
saving of 42336 Units/Annum, 20 Hp circulation pump with 10 Hp for the same strip cleaning operation
Low Cost Automation Projects
• Managed:
o Timer circuit introduction to eject the components from the press to avoid continuous air flow & reduction of usage of
air and arrangement of rollers for easy movement of bins and trolleys
o Additional roller provided for reduce wear and tear of the PTFE Conveyor
o Belt and increased the life of the belt
Cost Saving Projects
• Spearheaded following cost savings projects like:
o 10,000 per month by alteration of air line to the Press Shop
o 40,000 per annum by replacing of water pump from Jet to submersible
o Manufacturing spares for presses by local vendors up to 1,00,000.00 and manufacturing spares for cylinders and
valves up to 10,000.00 per annum
