The one-day Service Children Support Network Annual Conference will focus on supporting service children from birth to 7 years old and their families. The conference will examine early childhood development, the impact of loss and grief on young children, and how professionals can effectively support service children during times of transition. Presenters will provide perspectives from parents, early years practitioners, and organizations that support military families. The event is aimed at early years teachers, health and social care professionals, and those interested in high-quality support for service children in the UK.

2. This one-day National Conference will focus on our youngest Service
Children (birth – 7 years) and their families. It will focus on:
The perspectives of parents.
Early childhood development and well-being and the implications for
Service Children.
Supporting Service Children within the Early Years Foundation Stage.
Developing an understanding of the impact of loss and grief on young
children.
Share good early years practice.
Examine how early years practitioners, schools, settings, local authorities
and other professionals can support them effectively at times of
transition and separation.
