The 5th and 6th grade class from Halton Combined School visited the historic 800-year-old University of Oxford, the oldest continuously operating university. The students were in awe of the sights and learned about Oxford's rich history as they toured the city. Everyone gained new knowledge and enjoyed the trip, learning that universities provide a safe place to learn for both adults and children. The real-world experience of visiting Oxford changed the students' perspectives on universities and made attending one themselves seem like a real possibility.
