1. Update Parent PLUS Borrower
Info

2. Claim Worklist Item
Go to “Pending Worklist” screen and “claim next item” for Parent PLUS loans

3. Review Update Parent PLUS form
▪ Click on the “Image” to
review submitted
documents
▪ Review all pages attached
to the image.

4. Review Update Parent PLUS Form
• The documentation required for each update is different.
• If there is no supporting documentation in imaging, select the “Hold/Req Add’l Items”
icon to place the request/worklist on hold. Enter a message for the student and a
comment with the reason the request is on hold.

5. Update Parent Information
▪ Go to the “Add/Update a Person” screen.
▪ Enter Parent employee ID from the worklist into the “ID” field and select
the “Search” icon.
▪ Update the information on PeopleSoft if there is different information on
the Update Parent borrower info form.
▪ Update the parent name only if the correct documentation is attached to
the form.
▪ If the SSN is missing on the PeopleSoft screen, we can only update it if the
parent also provided a copy of their signed SSN card.
▪ Update the date of birth only if there is an attached scanned copy of the
parent’s valid driver’s license.

6. Update Parent Information
 To update the address, select the “Addresses” link.
 On the next screen, select the address to update by selecting the “Address type”
(mailing) so that the address that needs to be updated appears in the “Add
Address” field.
 Select the “Edit address” link to enter updated address information.
 Once the new address has been entered, select the “Add AddressTypes” check
box and select the “Submit” icon, then the “Save” icon.
 Once all updates have been made, select the “Save” icon.
