The truth is, you may need under a half an hour to set it up, but you don’t need to take the same amount of time to update it. And it’s a lot easier than you think.

IT DEPENDS Complete automation is a BIG NO NO But partial automation can be used sparingly (like with RSS feeds) -If you link Twitter to Facebook, make sure you respond to the comments on Facebook -If you link Facebook to Twitter, pay attention to those replies and the discussion generated by your tweets REMEMBER: They’re different audiences with different objectives A one size fits all approach may lose you followers instead of gaining them
  14. It’s not your opus, you won’t win a Pulitzer for anything in your blog - ever It’s your outlet for free-form, creative expression, so don’t take it so seriously! Think of it as your sandbox on the web (especially if posting finished work on another site) Links go a long way! By the way - you don’t NEED to blog every day, unless it’s your primarily publication outlet. A couple times a week will suffice, so give yourself a little time to percolate and ruminate.
