This course syllabus provides information about an online class on chiropractic and osteopathic manipulation. The instructor is Eileen Navarro and the course will introduce students to complementary and alternative medicine practices with a focus on chiropractic philosophy, history, techniques, anatomy, and spinal analysis procedures. Students will learn through online meetings and readings from three required textbooks. Grades will be based on tests, quizzes, labs, and writing assignments.

Course Description
This course will serve as an introduction to complementary and alternative
medicine, and chiropractic and osteopathic manipulation. This class will be
dedicated to understanding the basic chiropractic philosophy and history,
principles, and applications in practice. The class will cover not only chiropractic
care techniques, but it will also cover the anatomy, biomechanics and physiology,
and spinal analysis and diagnostic procedures.

3. To learn the anatomy, biomechanics and physiology of chiropractic
4. To learn the basic applications of chiropractic care techniques

adjustive procedures
