Course Description
This course is an introduction to CAM therapies that are available in the United State and will
cover two of the most often used by people seeking relief that Contemporary medicine does not
address. This class will cover basic anatomy, as well as Chakra points, energy fields, energy
medicine, direct massage therapy and meditation.

Course Objectives
1) To understand the uses of CAM therapies in conjunction with Contemporary Medicine.
2) To understand the basic body energy points and what organs are connected to them.
3) To understand the difference of hands-on to hands-off practices and address the “Personal
Space” rule of thumb.
4) To learn the basics of meditation and how it is connected to energy medicine.
5) To learn how to apply the principles of CAM into everyday practice.
6) To feel confident in learning new coping practices to cope with day to day stress.
