Job Description:
 Prepares E&I installation and construction procedures based on project specifications or
requirements.
 Prepares list of tools and equipment to be used in the Construction and Testing Works.
 Prepares initial E&I schedule based on the work scopes.
 Hands on assistance on Project Controls Department planning and scheduling of E&I Works using
Primavera P6.
 PreparesManpowerTable basedonSchedule, WorkScopesandKPI.Coordinateswith subcontractors
on required manpower as per schedule and job requirements.
 Meeting/coordination with the clients regarding the projects issues and concern.
 Meeting/coordination with other Construction disciplines to verify the construction sequence.
 Check the constructability of the drawings prior to construction and coordinate with Engineering
Department and Clients regarding the issues and concerns.
 Prepare E&I MTO’s basedonlatestrevisiondrawingsandraise Purchase Requestof requiredmaterials
and consumables for construction.
 Prepares summary of project requirements for construction and testing activities.
 Attends weekly meeting with the clients and clear the action items for E&I Construction Team.
 Assist the Construction Manager in performing E&I construction engineering works which requires
application of standard construction engineering techniques and procedures in carrying out a
sequence of related construction engineering tasks.
 Directcoordination with subcontractor supervisors for ensuring that the job progress is according to
schedule and construction has been done according to project specifications.
 Reviewspecificationsandrelateddocuments of the project. Ensure that the drawings, specifications
and procedures and in current revisions.
 Evaluate, select and apply standard construction engineering techniques, procedures and criteria
using judgment based on all applicable codes, specifications, and engineering information.
 Ensures that all Electrical and Instrumentation works, assemblies and fabrications are executed in
accordance with the drawings, documentation and specifications consistent with Company
procedures/practices.
 Ensure that all Lightingfixtures,SocketOutlets,Instrumentsdevices,Fire andGasdetectorsand PAGA
devicesisinstalledoncorrectlocations and orientations. Assist QC Inspectors on conducting megger

test, continuity test and loop checking. Ensures all accessories are installed, equipment and cable
taggings and core makers are correct prior to QC inspection.
 Ensures Instrument installation is in compliance with project specifications and as per Hook-up
drawings.
 Maintainknowledge of safety policies and procedures and perform assigned duties in safe manner.
 Understanding and ensuring compliance with the quarantine, health and safety regulations and
quality standards of the project.
 Ensuresthat safe workingpracticesrelatingtoElectrical andinstrumentationworksare adheredto, in
close liaison with the Safety Officer, informing him of proposed work areas and activities in
accordance with Company’s rules.
 Inspects the quality of work on a daily basis and ensures that drawing data and specifications are
adhered to.
 Monitorsdailyprogresswithinthe areaof assignmentandcoordinating with the Project Engineers in
keepingthe recordsof quantitiesinstalled. PreparesDaily/Weeklyproductionreports forE&IProgress
Reports. Provides Micro Monitoring of all completed and outstanding works of all tagged items.
