3. Congenital anomalies:-
The defects which are presents at
birth or before birth during the
intrauterine life, are known as
congenital anomalies.

4. Hereditary developmental anomalies:-
When certain defects inherited by
the offspring from either of the
parents, it is called Hereditary
anomaly
(Transmitted through genes)

5. Acquired anomalies:-
Acquired anomalies develop
during intrauterine life due to
some pathological environmental
conditions.
(Not transmitted through genes)

6. Hamartomatous anomalies:-
A hamartomatous can be defined as
an excessive, Focal over growth of
mature, normal cells & tissues,
which are native to that particular
anatomic location.
