what the daughter wanted and what
her mother wanted for her, based on
the background and cultural
differences between the two.

have some pride in her piano-when Jing

and she should take it. In the resolution, we

with the need for effective

is lacking, it can disrupt the
relationship in the short and long
term and cause long-lasting
emotional trauma for both parties.”
