    Tweet: 140 character message sent over Twitter
    Retweet or RT: To repeat someone's tweet
    @reply: To respond to someone's tweet
    Follower: Someone who is watching your tweets
    Following: Watching someone else's tweets
    Hashtag: Conversation theme typically denoted with a # before a word
    Tweetup: An informal in person meetup among twitterers
    Tweep: Slang for your people or peeps
    DM: Direct message sent from one user to another
    Fail whale: Image shown when Twitter is down
