Even the best partial denture frameworks do not fit perfectly in the mouth. Framework evaluation involves checking the fit on the master cast, inspecting off the cast for defects or improper finishing, and using methods like disclosing media to identify areas of interference that can be adjusted.

4. Check Both Dentures Together For
1. Occlusion
a) Vertical dimension of centric occluding relation and
available free way space (should be around 2-4 mm).
b) Centric relation i.e. anterio-posterior and lateral
dimension at centric occlusal
c) Free articulation and balanced occlusion
d) Equilibration of occlusal pressure.
2. Appearance of the face and teeth.
3. Phonetic tests.
4. Pleasing, comfort' and approval by the patient.

Occlusion
1. Direct the patient to make contact with his teeth lightly
in centric occlusion. This should coincide with the centric
relation.
2. Look for any tilting movement or rocking of either
dentures due to premature contact. If there is movement,
its cause must be isolated with the aid of articulating
paper. In most cases it is possible to remove one or two
interfering teeth or readjust teeth.

3. If the interference is of a great magnitude, such as
Incorrect Centric, the check bite must be registered
and the lower case remounted. The teeth should then
be re-set and the dentures tried in again. Repeat these
trials until the intraoral occlusion exactly duplicated the
articulator set-up.
