This document discusses a study investigating foreign language anxiety among students at Mataram University. The study aims to identify factors that students believe contribute to their foreign language anxiety, and whether these factors differ between male and female students or ability levels. The research questions ask about these contributing anxiety factors and potential differences. The study will use interviews and questionnaires of randomly sampled Mataram University students to collect data on their foreign language anxiety experiences based on established theories about how anxiety can negatively impact language learning performance.
