Song/music: Hopeless Wanderer
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wmBNfHYscfQ
Artist: Mumford & Sons
Director: Christian Owens

General Concept:
The type of music video i am interested in doing is Acoustic/Indie music; these two types of
music blend together to create a calm and relaxing mood to the person listening to it. . The
music video will combined performance and narrative because these music type mix well
together and with the song I have chosen I can exploit very complex camera angles

Guidelines:
1.) It will be a performance based video.
2.) It has to hit either the acoustic or indie genre of music and use their conventions.
3.)When it hits the chorus of the song it will show the artist perform in front of the camera.
4.) Extras and talents will be needed.
5.) The lighting will be bright for most of the music video depending on the mood of the song
6.) We will shoot outdoors
7.) We will have simple cut to cut editing with some colour enhancements in the video
8.) Artist Performance

Pegs on YouTube:
1.) Boyce Avenue - Broken Angel (Official Music Video)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wLJSgTgAom8&feature=plcp

This screenshot is showing the artist ad his bands performing at the chorus of the song which fits in with the guidelines and
also it shows that the video is a performance video ad also a narrative as there is a story before and after each chorus. This
video inspires me because they incorporate performance and narrative so well together.

2.)Mumford & Sons - Hopeless Wanderer (Music Video)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wmBNfHYscfQ

This screen show from Mumford & Sons shows the type of location that the music video will
be set in and also the high key lighting that is used by the natural light of the sun meaning
that we would not have to rent lighting equipment and gives a bright and positive mood to
the music video. This fits the guidelines of the music video will be shot outside.

2.) Ben Howard - Old Pine (Official Music Video)
       https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x8ccDb6n5Wg

The first screenshot shows colour enhancement, this is used to make untouched places like
forests to looks even better, kind of magical cause you can never imagine a place like this.
The second screenshot is the artist Ben Howard; I chose this screenshot because it shows
the high key lighting of the natural light. Also the artist is showing typical conventions of
acoustic and indie music with the hoody, casual clothes and field behind him.
