Richard's aventures in two entangled wonderlandsRichard Gill
Since the loophole-free Bell experiments of 2020 and the Nobel prizes in physics of 2022, critics of Bell's work have retreated to the fortress of super-determinism. Now, super-determinism is a derogatory word - it just means "determinism". Palmer, Hance and Hossenfelder argue that quantum mechanics and determinism are not incompatible, using a sophisticated mathematical construction based on a subtle thinning of allowed states and measurements in quantum mechanics, such that what is left appears to make Bell's argument fail, without altering the empirical predictions of quantum mechanics. I think however that it is a smoke screen, and the slogan "lost in math" comes to my mind. I will discuss some other recent disproofs of Bell's theorem using the language of causality based on causal graphs. Causal thinking is also central to law and justice. I will mention surprising connections to my work on serial killer nurse cases, in particular the Dutch case of Lucia de Berk and the current UK case of Lucy Letby.
DERIVATION OF MODIFIED BERNOULLI EQUATION WITH VISCOUS EFFECTS AND TERMINAL V...Wasswaderrick3
In this book, we use conservation of energy techniques on a fluid element to derive the Modified Bernoulli equation of flow with viscous or friction effects. We derive the general equation of flow/ velocity and then from this we derive the Pouiselle flow equation, the transition flow equation and the turbulent flow equation. In the situations where there are no viscous effects , the equation reduces to the Bernoulli equation. From experimental results, we are able to include other terms in the Bernoulli equation. We also look at cases where pressure gradients exist. We use the Modified Bernoulli equation to derive equations of flow rate for pipes of different cross sectional areas connected together. We also extend our techniques of energy conservation to a sphere falling in a viscous medium under the effect of gravity. We demonstrate Stokes equation of terminal velocity and turbulent flow equation. We look at a way of calculating the time taken for a body to fall in a viscous medium. We also look at the general equation of terminal velocity.
Observation of Io’s Resurfacing via Plume Deposition Using Ground-based Adapt...Sérgio Sacani
Since volcanic activity was first discovered on Io from Voyager images in 1979, changes
on Io’s surface have been monitored from both spacecraft and ground-based telescopes.
Here, we present the highest spatial resolution images of Io ever obtained from a groundbased telescope. These images, acquired by the SHARK-VIS instrument on the Large
Binocular Telescope, show evidence of a major resurfacing event on Io’s trailing hemisphere. When compared to the most recent spacecraft images, the SHARK-VIS images
show that a plume deposit from a powerful eruption at Pillan Patera has covered part
of the long-lived Pele plume deposit. Although this type of resurfacing event may be common on Io, few have been detected due to the rarity of spacecraft visits and the previously low spatial resolution available from Earth-based telescopes. The SHARK-VIS instrument ushers in a new era of high resolution imaging of Io’s surface using adaptive
optics at visible wavelengths.

Toxic effects of heavy metals : Lead and Arsenicsanjana502982
Heavy metals are naturally occuring metallic chemical elements that have relatively high density, and are toxic at even low concentrations. All toxic metals are termed as heavy metals irrespective of their atomic mass and density, eg. arsenic, lead, mercury, cadmium, thallium, chromium, etc.
Nutraceutical market, scope and growth: Herbal drug technologyLokesh Patil
As consumer awareness of health and wellness rises, the nutraceutical market—which includes goods like functional meals, drinks, and dietary supplements that provide health advantages beyond basic nutrition—is growing significantly. As healthcare expenses rise, the population ages, and people want natural and preventative health solutions more and more, this industry is increasing quickly. Further driving market expansion are product formulation innovations and the use of cutting-edge technology for customized nutrition. With its worldwide reach, the nutraceutical industry is expected to keep growing and provide significant chances for research and investment in a number of categories, including vitamins, minerals, probiotics, and herbal supplements.

Introduction
Library has a key role in scheme of Education. Classroom teaching must
be supplemented with the dissemination of knowledge through library.
Different types of books in Social science library can be quite helpful to the
students in completing the work assigned to them and to tackie all types of
problems emerging from different topics prescribed in their syllabus. Classroom
teaching many a times leaves many gaps and doubts. They can be removed if
students work use of good books available in the library. Social science teacher
can help the students in the selection of good books in the library.
5. A Social science library, is not only a source of learning and inspiration
for students but also serves the need of the teachers. A teacher must keep his
knowledge ever fresh and up-to-date, this is possible by making a free use of
mathematics library. He can also learn latest methods of teaching social science
from the new books available in the library. Thus a good social science library
helps to keep the lamp of historical knowledge burning so as to kindle light in
the minds of the students as also the teachers.
Social science is quite a vast subject. A social science teacher should not
follow only the text-book and be must study some standard books from the
library.
It will provided him a deeper insight into the subject and through
2
command of the same.

Library Facilities in schools
In our schools there are two types of libraries:
(a) General school library
(b) Social science Department library.
(a) General school library
In most of our schools there is a general school library which
contains books and magazines an all subjects. Then there should be separate
sections for social science books. For the teachers there should be good books
on methodology of teaching, contributions of various historians and important
historical personalities. For students there should be books on recreational
activities, well selected text-books, some reference books and other historical
books
(b) Social Science Department Library
Subject to the availability of resources there should be a separate
social science library. It may be housed in the social science room. The
librarian or the person in charge of it should classify the books properly so that
students do not find and difficulty in getting the books issued. Social science
teacher himself should remain in touch with latest books or magazines on the
subject and make additions in the library. A number of copies of good books
should be purchased.
7. 4
Use of Library
Library is a resource center which is intensively used by all members of
the school family. It helps the teacher to Enrich curriculum and facilitates
personal and professional reading. It supports the students to gain meaningful
experience in reading thinking and forming independent Judgements. To the
community, it provides for recreational and hobby interests. Library can thus
Justify its position as a basic tool for instructional programme. Due to the above
reasons library occupies a unique position in modern school and it cannot be
replaced by any other agency.
The potent functions of library are :
(1) It teaches the technique of using the library effectively.
(2) It provides the opportunities to students to assume responsibility.
(3) It gives material for instructions and for reading.
(4) It stimulates reading for recreation and Enjoyment.
8. 5
Arrangement for Separate Library
The common library help in Encouraging the students to make of use of
library services, bur the students cannot get proper guidance for removing their
deficiencies in a certain subject.
A separate library for social science is a great inevitability for rendering
proper help to needed students. Such a library can be housed in social science
room and can be put under the charge of social science teacher. A separate
social science is inevitable because of the following reasons.
(1) The students get better library facilities.
(2) It helps the activities of social science club.
(3) It can be help to gifted and bright students.
(4) It helps to bring efficiency in organization of library service.
(5) Social science teacher remains in constant touch with the latest books in
history.
(6) It gives a sense of separate identity to social science and helps to include
interest in the subject.
Thus, it is essential that all out efforts be made to establish a separate
social science library in every school.
9. 6
Need Materials is Library
Social science library should contain useful audio-visual aids required for
teaching of history. The educational pictures, charts, maps, posters about social
science be displayed on the walls of library room. In social science library there
should be a good collection social science books. The social science teacher
should be liable for making a wise selection of books for the library. These
books should be the following types :
(1) Materials for Library
These include biographies, auto-biographies, fiction, folklore, short
stories, travel books, books of adventure, hero, stories, romance, drama and
poetry. This type of material provides reading for enjoyment and pleasure.
(2) Source Materials
These include source books, manuscripts, original account of travellers
and contemporary historian diaries, proclamations, original letters and
dispatches of king governors and viceroys, treaties, old monuments , historical
building, sites, old tools, weapons, armors, coins etc.
(3) Availability of textbooks
A number of good text-books on various periods of Indian social
science as also social science of the world and social science of other
important countries, must be available in the library. It is also very
significant to note that keeping in view in the excavations in various parts
of our country and also in other parts of the world and because of rapidly
changing human life in the modern age, new and revised editions of
10. standard text-books should continually be purchased for the school
library.
7
(4) Reference Books
These include reference books, Encyclopedias, dictionaries, year
books, biographies, at leases, bibliographies, directories, old manuscripts,
old coins and other excavated material. Govt. Gazetters and the like.
