This document provides instructions for a teacher conducting a TOEFL speaking test preparation lesson. The teacher is instructed to ask the student sample questions that require choosing a preference between two options and explaining their choice in 45 seconds. For each response, the teacher should provide feedback on fluency, structure, use of time and identify areas for improvement. The goal is to help students improve their ability to speak clearly and coherently about familiar topics within the TOEFL test time limits.
