Instant messaging is a form of communication that can be done between co-worker assisting with problems and solutions while at the location. These communication tools are effective technology that can be used to create a formal learning experience (Jahnke, 2012).

From the research and growing technologies the learning environments can be affected in positive ways with the proper training and use of the informal and formal technology. Social learning is powerful and some organizations use this technology currently. More organization is moving toward social learning, saving time and money, online communication is effective and fast (Jahnke, 2012).
  • #30 Using sources from the AIU Online Library, online social networks classrooms are designed for learning. With the correct training and guidance social networking is effective learning. Social networking sites are used to conduct study groups with college students as well as elementary and high school students. In schools today social networks are becoming a tool that is important. It has been said that shared learning experiences can go beyond the classroom boundaries using social networks (Casey & Evans, 2011).
