It recommends doing a self-assessment including strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. Then to create and implement a 1-2 year career strategy plan. It also suggests developing a professional brand and online presence through blogs, social media, conferences and publishing. Maintaining an up-to-date resume and getting involved in professional associations are also recommended.
