9/11 attack   •   This impacted business because it slowed
                  down the stock market and the U.S. had to pay
                  the repair damage.
•   This was significant because man had never
                been on the moon.

Apollo 11   •   We were in a space race with Russia and the
                U.S showed that we are the superpower.
            •   It set a new standard for technology which
                made and increase need for math and science.
•   This was devastating because the entire U.S was
                    able to watch someone shoot the president.
                •   It was played on everyone’s T.V. and shown live
JFK Assonated       throughout the nation.
                •   Many Americans thought JFK was great for
                    presidency and were devastated that he was killed.
•   This was significant because America created a
                                 speacial program called the Manhattan Project.
                             •   The nation put the best scientists together to make
Hiroshima/Nagasaki bombing       the most deadly bomb ever created.
                             •   This bomb was dropped and vaporized everyone in
                                 its reach.
                             •   This raised the bar and showed that the U.S was the
                                 ultimate superpower.
•   This was significant because it showed that the U.S
                               was still expanding.
