9/11 attack • This impacted business because it slowed
down the stock market and the U.S. had to pay
the repair damage.

been on the moon.
Apollo 11 • We were in a space race with Russia and the
U.S showed that we are the superpower.
• It set a new standard for technology which
made and increase need for math and science.

4. • This was devastating because the entire U.S was
able to watch someone shoot the president.
• It was played on everyone’s T.V. and shown live
JFK Assonated throughout the nation.
• Many Americans thought JFK was great for
presidency and were devastated that he was killed.

5. • This was significant because America created a
speacial program called the Manhattan Project.
• The nation put the best scientists together to make
Hiroshima/Nagasaki bombing the most deadly bomb ever created.
• This bomb was dropped and vaporized everyone in
its reach.
• This raised the bar and showed that the U.S was the
ultimate superpower.

was still expanding.

many other features.
• The economy has grown to huge extends with the
use of the cell phone.

it allowed people to access the internet.
• The internet was able to bring the entire nation
Computer/Internet together.
• Bill Gates created Microsoft and made so much
money that he was affecting our economy and the
government had to step in and manage his accounts.
• The use of the internet today is always changing with
new inventions constantly being created.

11. • Video games helped impact U.S because it created a
huge industry.
• The first video games systems created were game
Video Games cube and arcade.
• Now those systems seem ancient and now there is
Xbox and PlayStation.
• These systems and can played in Blue-Ray and HD.

12. • Medicine is always changing. With new technology,
medicine has been better than ever to suit our
needs.
Advanced Medicine • Medicine is responsible for saving millions of lives
and keeping a higher population with a lower death
rate.
• Medicine can is still being changed and cures for
cancer and other diseases are still needed.

allowed for crime to be based on genes.
• Now scientists are using genes to ensure that
Forensic Science someone is guilty.
• The fingerprint is unique to your genes and can now
be tested and proved.
