PROFILE
I am a hard working, highly organised and self motivated
marketing, communications and brand management
professional with considerable practical knowledge
and advertising background. I am proud of my integrity,
attention to detail, communication skills, and problem
solving abilities.
In my own time I am an avid cyclist, RC pilot, food lover,
scotch connoisseur and family man.
KEY SKILLS
• Extensive experience in production of advertising and
marketing campaigns over a variety of industries.
• Excellent understanding of internal corporate
communication and culture building.
• Skilled in writing and designing targeted marketing
communications and campaigns.
• Highly capable team leader with well developed
interpersonal and rapport building skills.
CAREER OBJECTIVES
My career to date has been mostly about marketing,
advertising and brand management, but my experience
over the past few years with Forge Group has lead
me into the world of corporate communications and
internal culture building which I have developed both
an aptitude and passion for. So my objective over
the next 5 years is to seek opportunities for further
development in this area, in order to round out my skill
set and develop my potential for more senior corporate
management roles.
I have gained a very good understanding of the
resources based Engineering & Construction industry
but would also be seeking to diversify into other
adjacent or related industries.

EXPERIENCE
2014-15 Risk Management Technologies (RMT)
Marketing & Communications Executive
RMT is a privately owned software development
company based in West Perth, with a mission to provide
products which drive organisational safety culture and
transparency. The two products are: ChemAlert which
is a well recognised and respected chemical safety
management system; and First Priority, an enterprise-
wide risk management framework designed to discover
weaknesses in critical controls, enabling organisations to
take early action to prevent incidents.
I came onboard with RMT to a newly created Marketing
and Communications role in an organisation that had
previously done very little in this area. The two products
were virtually run as separate business silos (from an
outside perspective) with very little awareness of the
company behind them. I have spent the first 12 months
overhauling the branding and communications into a
cohesive and well defined regime.
The company is now clearly positioned as a thought
leader and developer of the successful products, with
a clear mission and deeply held values. I have a clear
vision for driving this strategy in the future and at least 12
months of improvements mapped out.
Responsibilities include:
• Brand Management including development and
implementation of a Style Guide, and oversite of all
external facing communications and material;
• Communications Management including maintaining
consistency of messaging and alignment with the
overall strategy;
• Publication Management including development and
production of all printed and electronic literature;
• Digital Marketing including website development and
management, SEO and digital campaigns;
• Internal Communications including development of
an Employee Handbook and internal culture building
strategies;
• Event Management involving planning, developing
and implementing regular trade show exhibitions such
as HAZMAT and Safety In Action;
• Assistance in recruiting communications;
• Consultation on new product development and
positioning strategies; and
• Assistance and consultation in product design.

Resume Tim Robinson (June 2015)
Experience continued.
2010-14 Forge Group (formerly Cimeco)
Marketing & Communications Manager
also Publications & Communications Manager, and Proposals Coordinator.
I initially started with Forge Group subsidiary Cimeco
as a Proposals Coordinator but my marketing skills
were quickly recognised and the position of Marketing
Coordinator was created for me, reporting directly to the
Managing Director.
My scope gradually grew until I was overseeing marketing
for the entire Group including three subsidiaries and the
parent company. In this capacity I initiated and project
managed a minor rebranding exercise to bring the
subsidiary brands into alignment to better reflect the
Group’s integrated service offering.
In 2012 I was promoted to Marketing and Communications
Manager, employed by Forge Group Ltd with a special
remit to oversee the rebranding of the entire Group
(by then 4 subsidiaries) under a single, unified brand.
Eventually, under a newly rebranded, and restructured
Forge Group, my role was changed to Publications
and Communications Manager, reporting to the Chief
Executive of Corporate Affairs.
In this role I developed a complete new suite of marketing
collateral, communications and document system
templates, and accompanying style guide.
I also wrote boilerplate marcoms to strategically
communicate the Group’s unique sales proposition including
the tag line “Value through integration”.
My responsibilities included:
• Internal communications strategy, planning and
implementation;
• Publications including development of all marketing
collateral, annual and interim reports and a range of
internal publications;
• Management of company photo library including
quality management and procurement of new
professional photography for a range of applications
including recruitment, advertising, marketing and
remote project documentation;
• Brand management including development and
implementation of company Style Guide, and
development of a range of internal sub-brands such
as ForgeSafe. This also included appointment and
development of regional brand champions to assist
with implementation in North America, Africa and east
coast Australia;
• Marketing including brochures, presentations,
signage, advertising, website, business development
support and external communications including some
investor relations.
Detailed position description available on request.

RECOMMENDATIONS
Tim is a very service and outcome focused operator
who has an outstanding ability to take needs and ideas
for both internal and external marketing material and
generate excellence. In every instance he worked
swiftly and professionally to develop ideas, brands
and concepts that we were together very quickly
able to convert into the exact required outcome. His
collaborative approach, creative designs and intuition
keeping him in-tune and relevant to business needs was
consistently recognised by our clients as high quality
work raising the Safety profile extensively around our
business. I highly recommend Tim for any position he
chooses to apply.
Matthew Lloyd
Executive General Manager, Barminco
I had the pleasure of working with Tim as his Manager
at Forge Group before the company restructured.
Tim has the ability to effectively bridge the needs
and expectations of engineering-type thinking with
the creativity of persuasive and polished marketing
and communications. He is generous with his time,
coaching others as required and involving himself in
company team building activities.
Yvonne deBoer
Business Development, Marketing & Communications consultant,
Syntégra Consulting
Tim is a senior communications professional with
experience across a wide range of activities, including
strategy, marketing, internal communications,
publications, digital and design. His management of
a corporate re-brand in 2012/13 was exemplary, with
particular regard to the development and delivery of a
new website and research and production of corporate
literature aimed at reaching a variety of audiences. I
have no hesitation recommending Tim for roles in the
Marketing Communications and related fields.
Anthony Mackaiser
Owner - Disruption PR
Tim was my colleague when we worked together at
Risk Management Technologies in 2014 and 2015. Tim
was the Marketing and Communications Executive
and looked after all aspects of corporate branding,
web presence and client communications. During that
time, Tim proved to be extremely motivated and very
knowledgeable. He took pride in his work and showed
meticulous attention to detail, always striving to get the
best quality outcome. I will always remember the time
when he patiently and diligently worked through a large
list of vague user requirements to produce a whole suite
of high quality marketing products. Tim is a true team
player and I would be only too happy to recommend him
or to work with him again.
Katarina McLeod
Plan and Business Development Lead, Hewlett-Packard
I have known Tim for over 10 years as a close family friend.
Tim’s knowledge and experience during this time has
assisted me on both a personal and professional level. His
expertise in graphics offered creativity and diverse options
to work that he undertook for me and I have also watched
him grow his management expertise during his time with
the Forge Group. Tim brings a focus to his work that is
thorough, detailed and precise but he also demonstrates
a great deal of emotional intelligence which makes him a
strong leader. He is very conscientious and dedicated to
every aspect of his work. He is always approachable and
willing to offer assistance whenever asked. He would be a
valuable asset to any organization.
Mark Rodgers
Vice President - Operations
Iron Ore Company of Canada
Knowing and working with Tim has been a pleasure.
His professionalism, attention to detail and expertise in
marketing and graphic design is second to none. I would
recommend Tim to any employer and he would be an
asset to any organisation.
