To Whom It May Concern:
It is with great pleasure that I recommend Tiffany Fordyce to you. Tiffany has served as a Physical
Education teacher in Middletown for six years. She has also served as a volleyball coach. In addition,
Tiffany has worked directly with me as a curriculum leader during the implementation of Ohio’s new
Physical Education standards. Tiffany is an extremely valuable component to Middletown’s physical
education department and the district as a whole.
Tiffany has demonstrated natural leadership and organizational skills. As Ohio began working towards the
new Physical Education standards, Tiffany was one of the physical education teachers that stepped
forward to help the district vision how these standards might look in Middletown. When leadership was
needed with the other Physical Education teachers, she worked with a small team to provide the vision and
direction. During this work, Tiffany demonstrated her administrative and organizational abilities as she
designed professional development for the entire district’s Physical Education staff. Her ability to facilitate
meetings and professional development was also a benefit during this time period. Tiffany also utilized her
excellent technology skills to provide record-keeping options and mentor other teachers in this area.
Tiffany is a transformational leader, having the personality to connect with individuals, positively influencing
them to consider new approaches and techniques. As a leader among her peers in Middletown, Tiffany
has been a beacon of light, leading our district through a process of transformational thinking and teaching
in physical education instruction. She is able to work on and lead a team. She is goal oriented and data
driven. Tiffany is a continuous learner, supportive, resourceful, well-organized, and a positive, student
centered professional at all times. She works tirelessly to perform at an exceptional level in everything she
does.
I value Tiffany’s expertise and heart for education, students, and teachers. I recommend her to you most
highly. If I can be of any assistance to you in your decision making process, please call me at 513-262-
8510.
Sincerely,
Dr. Betsy Carter
