To Whom It May Concern:
I am the CEO of a large nonprofit organization that operates in 42 counties throughout Florida,
and I am an adjunct instructor at the College of Central Florida. Over the past year, Jennifer
Mouritsen participated in my baccalaureate program’s capstone course. She performed
exceptionally well, displaying proficiency in research and strategic analysis. Jennifer conveyed
professionalism and consistent preparation, which resulted in outstanding performance and
grades.
Based on Jennifer Mouritsen’s positive demeanor and educational performance, my company
selected her as an intern for our Head Start program. In this role, Jennifer participated in a
range of activities, including: case conferencing and staffing for exceptional education
students, advocated for families through case management and organization of case files to
ensure that families receive appropriate services, ensured that the childcare center met DCF
standards by completing Center Compliance Observations, and communicated with families
receiving services to ensure that the child is getting the most from the Head Start program.
I had the opportunity to observe Jennifer Mouritsen as a college student, and as an intern at
my company. She is adaptable, hard-working and positive. As such, I believe Jennifer
Mouritsen would be a valuable asset to your organization.
Please contact me if you have questions (352) 266-5478.
Best regards,
Curt Bromund, CEO CDS,
