Land Acknowledgement

Earth Hour to support Climate Change will be celebrated from
2:00 to 3:00 pm today. All non necessary lights and
electronics will be off during this time.

Yearbook Cover Design criteria are on the next slide. These
are also posted on the bulletin outside the library.
6. 2017-2018 Yearbook Cover Submission Criteria
A cover page must include:
Yearbook Covers are due: April 10th
❖ Pine River Elementary School
❖ 2017-2018
❖ All spelling is correct (no mistakes)
❖ Capitals, punctuation is correct (no mistakes)
❖ Be on 8 1/2 x 11 size paper (page is vertical, 81/2 top & bottom)
❖ Include your name in small neat print in the bottom right hand or left hand corner
Two theme options include:
❖ Canadian
❖ Growth Mindset thinking, positive statements about making mistakes but not giving up
Please remember to:
❖ Design a “rough draft” and have an adult check it to give feedback BEFORE you do a copy to
submit
❖ Have clear edges or lines on letters or drawings
❖ Easy to read
❖ Strong colour or black and white
