This document discusses transforming the Training Within Industries (TWU) model from a traditional teacher-student model to a more modern work-based learning model called "workscaping." It outlines how the past TWU model involved a teacher teaching and a student learning through lectures and projects. However, surveys showed students learned most from peers, coaching, and real work experiences. The document proposes a new model where learning is integrated into real work through coaching, feedback, and pulling learning from concepts and frameworks. This apprentice-coach model aims to maximize social impact and provide an action learning environment where students learn from each other at work by solving real problems and running real meetings.
