Teamwork involves people working together towards common goals. It requires skills like listening, questioning, persuading and respecting others. Effective teams go through stages of forming, storming, norming and performing. Organizations can create a culture of teamwork by communicating expectations, rewarding teamwork and providing training. The benefits of teamwork include improved productivity, problem solving ability and morale.
Teamwork
A team is a collection of individuals with different expertise brought together to achieve a common goal. Teams have advantages like access to interdisciplinary knowledge, diversity of perspectives, shared responsibility, and the ability to accomplish more than individuals. Effective teamwork requires trust, respect, communication, cooperation, and situational leadership where the person with relevant skills leads in a given situation. The stages of team development include forming, storming, norming, performing, and adjourning. A surgical team was provided as an example of interdependent roles needed to successfully complete a medical procedure.

In a learning environment where writing, reflecting, creating and collaborating are driving authentic engagement with content, searching and researching has to encompass multi-literacies and information fluency in the process. It’s time to challenge the old standards of ‘search’. With all our experience as teachers, we are novices in the information revolution. It’s not a one-size-fits-all environment, and the myriad of choices, tools and techniques we could customise for our professional purposes need explanation and elaboration to understand how to be a confident, efficient and effective news and knowledge curators. This session will show how connecting, collaborating and networking are dependent on knowledge filters and information search techniques that allow teachers to become extraordinary information architects in charge of their own knowledge work, ready to mentor and support the learning of their students.

LEAP 21 - PLANE Festival of Learning

There are 4 phases of wound healing: hemostasis, inflammation, proliferation, and remodeling. This document also describes the mechanism of wound healing. Factors that affect healing include infection, uncontrolled diabetes, poor nutrition, age, anemia, the presence of foreign bodies, etc.
Complications of wound healing like infection, hyperpigmentation of scar, contractures, and keloid formation.
