  THE WAY YOU ACT!
Introduction

These activities were created with the main
  purpose to compare and to reflect about the
  differences and similarities that men and
  women have in a general context and also
  comparing their own similarities and
  differences as people from Chiapas.
Objectives
 Communicative: At the end of this unit, Students will
  be able to talk about psychological differences of
  each gender.

 Linguistics: Students will use their active vocabulary
  and will remember his /her passive vocabulary in
  order to accomplish the activities. The student will
  make use of the different tenses.

 Socio-cultural: During the Unit, the Students will
  learn , discus, and reflect about the differences of
  each gender.
 Material: Videos, Texts, Pictures, Skype,
  audios, blogs, e-mail.

 Background: The student already have
  vocabulary enough , grammatical structures
  and the skills needed in order to accomplish
  the activities.
Student´s Support
*Student´s English level : A2
*Age: 18 – 22 years old.
*Previous hours: 180 – 200 hrs.
*Skills to develop : 4 Integrated skills
*Competences: Cultural , Linguistics ,
  Communicative competences.
*Evaluation: The Teacher will grade each activity
  after they were done.
*Kind of approach: Conductual and costructivist.

  focusing also in their immediate context:

     1.- What is the video about?
           a) It is about a party.
           b) It is about differences between man a woman.
           c) It is about differences between a man and his friend.
Activity number 1. Everybody is different, but when we talk about genders the
things change; the differences get bigger and bigger and nobody understands
anything. Look at the following pictures, What´s going on in each one? Think
about it.
Activity 1.1 After you have looked at the pictures presented before, complete
the following chart in which you express 5 differences between men and women
that you consider important, taking into account your context (Chiapas).

Now you will hear and watch a video where a man and a woman talk about their
differences.
Pay attention and then answer the following questions.

Activity number 2.- Now you have 6 sentences in which there are some
 sentences extracted from the Audio. Read them and put the correct number in

Activity number 3: Listening & Speaking !!!! Do you think that the place in
which you live (Chiapas) affect the way women and men act or think?
Get into the Skype and talk about that with your partners.




Activity number 4: Speaking. You have already listened about the different point
   of view respecting to the physicological differences between a man a woman
   from your State. Now, What do you think about that? Is it true? Is it false?
   What can you tell about this situation?



Make a recording of about 3 minutes in which you answer this questions, send
  the file recording to the Facebook account.
Activity number 5: Read the following Text, after that,
  answer the following exercises. The text will be
  uploaded in a PDF format on the Facebook account
  that the Class already have.
Activity number 6: AFTER YOU READ. Write true (T) or false (F) in each
sentence depending the Reading. Answer on the page:

Activity number 7:
What do you think about the psychological differences that men and
women have with each other? Have you had some troubles related to
this?

Write a Paragraph (60-80 words) where you explain some impressions that
you have about what you have learned in this unit. Some positive and
negative points related to the topic.
Send it to the Teacher´s mail.
