WhatisWarming-up?Warming up is a set of sequencial and progressiveexercises, involvingallthemuscles and jointswiththegoal of preparingthebodyforexercise, so thebody can performadequately and avoidinjury.
Benefits of the warm up:If you do a good warm up, you can get:          1) Protection against injuries2) Better performanceAnd also:                               -You increase your body temperature.       -Your joints move more efficiently-Oxygen in blood travels faster.-Your muscles extend more and are more elastic-Muscles move faster and with more strength-You react faster
A WARM – UP HAS 2 PARTS:GENERAL - Physical activities with your main muscles SPECIFIC - Exercises directly related to the next activity that we will do. For example, in a basketball warm-up we practice bouncing, shooting, different movements, games, drills…
WARM UP GENERALStarting up: jogging, walking, soft running, … etc. Joint movements: Free pendulum like motion movements and some circles around your joints Streching of your main groups (upper limbs, lower limbs and trunk)
