The Three Day Diet

 By: Tyler Rogaliner and
   Estella De La Cruz
Background
• The Three Day Diet’s origin are unclear but it
goes back to 1985 and it is also call the
Cleveland Diet because some believe it was
founded in a Cleveland Clinic. It was originally
for people who where about to have surgery.
They would diet three days before their
  surgery.
Basic of the Diet
• You eat certain foods that you could ordinarily
find in you kitchen for three days and you
would lose up to 10 pounds. Some of the
foods consist of a cup of black coffee a piece
of toast for breakfast, for lunch a ½ cup of
tuna a piece of toast and black coffee or tea,
and for dinner 3 ounces of lean meat some
vegetables and fruit. Exercise is not
  recommended for this diet.
Pros
• You can lose up to ten pounds while still while
still eating healthy food that will be laid for
you so you know what to buy at the grocery
  stores.
• The diet only last for three days so you don’t
  have to worry about plateaus.
Cons
• You only intake less than 1000 calories a day
so your metabolism slows down so when you
go back to eating normal you put the weight
back on quicker and possibly more weight
than you lost in the first place.
Our Opinion
• In our opinion I think that this diet could be
healthy as long as you cutting back on your
food intake not completely cutting it off and
the food you taking in is healthy for you not
  fats.
