Three little trees on a mountain dream of what they want to become. The first wants to be a treasure chest, the second a strong ship, and the third the tallest tree pointing to God. They are cut down by woodcutters - the first becomes a feed box, the second a small fishing boat, and the third beams in a timber yard. However, each comes to realize they held something greater than their dreams - the first the baby Jesus, the second carries Jesus during a storm, and the third is used for the cross, allowing people to think of God when they see it.
