IBERIAN PENINSULA
Spain is a country located in southwestern Europe occupying most (about 82 percent) of
the Iberian Peninsula. The relief of the Iberian Peninsula is dominated by a great plateau:
the “Meseta Central”. This plateau has approximately an average elevation of 610 metres.
