3. A Healthy Diet For Our Planet.
What factors help our planet? What can we do to live in
a sustainable world? These are common questions that
people do a lot nowadays, but not all people know the
answer. In this investigation I am going to explain the
most important facts to take care of our planet and live
in a better way.
1.Greenhouse gases
One of the things that spoil the planet the most are the
greenhouse gases. The greenhouse gases are some
gases that heat up the atmosphere and break down the
ozone layer, which protect us from solar radiation like
UV rays. These gases are mostly CO2 methane and
other fluorinated gases.
2.So what can we do to stop the emissions of
greenhouse gases?
CO2 is mostly expelled in the chemical reaction that
fuels do in vehicles to generate movement, this reaction
consists of the burn of the fuel, mixing the hydrocarbon
with the oxygen in the air, which produces heat, water
and CO2.

One solution, and the easiest one, is to use public
transports like buses. This vehicles consume less fuels
and can transport a high number of people. It is also
cheaper to use a public bus than paying for gasoline
each week. The average of money spend in gasoline
per year in Spain is around 1200 euros each year. this
means spending an average of 25 euron each week. If a
bus costs around 1 euro and you use it 1 time per day,
for example for going to work, you will spend between 5
and 7 euros, depending on the days you work. So public
transport contaminates less and it is also cheaper.
Other solution is to use electric vehicles, which only
need electricity to move. But not all people can buy a
new car so it is more difficult.

5. 3.Water
Water is a very important compound in the Earth,
without it any living thing could exist, so it is vital. We
have water whenever we want and we can use it , but if
we abuse of the using of water it wouldn’t be able for
other living things, not just other humans but also
animals and plants.
If plants doesn’t receive the proper amount of water
they will die, and if they die the cycle in which plants
convert CO2 into O2 would be stopped, so all the living
things which need oxygen to survive would die and the
gases in the atmosphere would be unbalanced.

6. Another reason to save water is that it is a limited
resource, so we must use it properly. How can we use it
properly? To use it properly means not to use it
excessively, get short showers instead of a bath and not
to waste water using it like a bin. If we waste water we
can not use it again and it is limited so, don't waste
water!
4.Plants
Another thing that we must do to help our planet is to
plant more trees and other kinds of plants. As I said
before they generate oxygen, which is needed for lots of
things and for living things to breathe!Take care of plants
and don’t throw trash to the trees on the streets because
without plants we couldn’t breathe and we would die.
If you don’t have plants in your house, buy one, if you
don’t see plants on the streets, plant one, and the world
would be a better place in which to live.

So , in conclusion to make the world a better place, we
should use renewable energies instead of fossil fuels ,
we mustn’t waste water and we should have plants
around us and take care of them.
