Education has utilized media since ancient times with print media like books and journals playing key roles. As technology evolves, so does education. Students can now conduct research from home online rather than traveling to libraries. Teachers face new challenges with students able to learn independently. While online classes give more access to education, media dependency and inactive learning are risks to address. Social media allows Filipinos to stay connected but can also weaken cultural identity if foreign cultures are favored over local ones. Overall, media presents both opportunities and challenges for education and society.
