The People of Proverbs (Part 4): The FoolDavid Turner

"I want to talk to you this morning about THE BATTLE THAT RAGES FOR YOUR MIND. And you have to be aware that Satan is coming against this generation in an unprecedented measure.
He is attacking this generation to take the thoughts of God out of the minds of an entire society.
He's doing it through the school system.
He's doing it in our colleges.
He's doing it in the marketplace.
He's doing it in the halls of government.
And he's even doing it in the house of God.
Trying to eradicate everything that comes from the mind of God, to blind an entire generation, to take captives, as many as he can, for the scripture says, he knows that his time is short.
Spurgeon, “THIS is a very short Psalm, there are only six verses in it, but what a change there is between the beginning and the end of it! The first two verses are dolorous to the deepest degree, but the last verse is joyful to the highest degree. David begins many of his Psalms sighing and ends them singing, so that I do not wonder that Peter Moulin says, “One would think that those Psalms had been composed by two men of a contrary humor.”

HIS WILL YOUR WAY SYNOPSIS
His Will your way is a religious book, His will your way exposes the word of God and its meaning to help people understand what God expects from them. It is theologically inclined, it is meaning derived from the word of God. His Will your ways teaches people that there is no other way one would understand the will of God than going through the word of God. “I have learned that religiosity comes in the picture when ministers of the word begin to super impose religious view upon people. Forcing them to fast, pray, eat or drink what they (Ministers of the word) believe it is good and etc. while God called us to teach and equip the saints. In so saying, knowing the will of God is imperative, we need to know and understand the will of God.” His will your way was written to play a role of a sign that directs people to the correct information. People in this generation may try to fit in the lives of people on television but His will your way by William Seitshiro stands to say ‘if only you knew Gods will for you then you would understand that you are better than them.

Can you remember the joy of first receiving Christ? Why is it, that as we grow in Christ we sometimes know more, but experience the joy less. It's choice. In any relationship it requires a degree of effort to keep the joy in the relationship. Lord, Please return the joy to us.
The Christ Centered Life (Part 4): The Work PlaceDavid Turner
People follow Christ at Church and sometimes in their homes, but often find it difficult to integrate their faith in Christ with their job. How do we practice our faith in the workplace? Paul answers this in Ephesians 6:5-9
The Christ Centered Life (Part 5): Everybody is SomebodyDavid Turner
The Christ Centered Life is a life that acknowledges the value of others. It does't just attempt to live for Christ, but also encourages others to live their lives for Christ. It helps others explore and use their abilities and gifts to the glory of their Lord. 1 Corinthians 12:12-31
The Christ Centered Life (Part 7): The ChurchDavid Turner
The Church is an essential part of living the Christ Centered Life. It is the body of Christ living together for Christ helping one another to live each one's life for Christ. We can't do it alone. If Christ loved his church and gave his life for it, shouldn't we as followers love what Christ loved?
The Christ Centered Life (Part 6): Unity Through HumilityDavid Turner
The Christ Centered Life is a selfless life. It places other above self and is willing to sacrifice selfish wants for the welfare of those around them. It is a life of humility rather than selfish pride and ambition. Philippians 2:1-11

The founding fathers of our nation trusted in something greater than the Declaration of Independence. They trusted in the Bible and the God of the Bible. Our present leaders would do well to put their trust in the same God and the same Bible.

eye, but fail to see the beam of wood in your own? 4
Or
how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me remove the
speck from your eye,’ while there is a beam in your own?
5
You hypocrite! First remove the beam from your own
eye, and then you can see clearly to remove the speck
from your brother’s eye.

Why do the nations rebel? Why are the
countries devising plots that will fail? 2
The
kings of the earth form a united front; the
rulers collaborate against the Lord and his
anointed king. 3
They say, “Let’s tear off the
shackles they’ve put on us! Let’s free
ourselves from their ropes!” 4
The one
enthroned in heaven laughs in disgust; the
Lord taunts them. 5
Then he angrily speaks to
them and terrifies them in his rage, saying, 6
“I
myself have installed my king on Zion, my holy
hill.”

show him his fault when the two of you are alone.
If he listens to you, you have regained your
brother. 16
But if he does not listen, take one or two
others with you, so that at the testimony of
two or three witnesses every matter may
be established. 17
If he refuses to listen to them,
tell it to the church. If he refuses to listen to the
church, treat him like a Gentile or a tax collector.

you.

eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.’ 39
But I say to
you, do not resist the evildoer. But whoever strikes you on
the right cheek, turn the other to him as well. 40
And if
someone wants to sue you and to take your tunic, give him
your coat also. 41
And if anyone forces you to go one mile, go
with him two. 42
Give to the one who asks you, and do not
reject the one who wants to borrow from you. 43
“You have
heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor’ and ‘hate
your enemy.’ 44
But I say to you, love your enemy and pray
for those who persecute you,
Romans 12:17-19 (NET)
17
Do not repay anyone evil for
evil; consider what is good
before all people. 18
If possible,
so far as it depends on you, live
peaceably with all people. 19
Do
not avenge yourselves, dear
friends, but give place to God’s
wrath, for it is written,
“Vengeance is mine, I will
repay,” says the Lord.

Now I urge you,
brothers and sisters, to watch out for those
who create dissensions and obstacles
contrary to the teaching that you learned.
Avoid them! 18
For these are the kind who
do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own
appetites. By their smooth talk and flattery
they deceive the minds of the naive.

30. Conclusion
“It’s not the critic who counts, not the one who points
out how the strong man stumbles or how the doer
of deeds might have done better. The credit
belongs to the man who is actually in the arena;
whose face is marred with sweat and dust and
blood; who strives valiantly, who knows the great
enthusiasms, the great devotions, and spends
himself in a worthy cause; who, if he fails, at least
he fails while daring greatly, tat his place shall
never be with those cold and timid souls who know
neither victory nor defeat.” Theodore Roosevelt
