The Pascuals in the Philippines provide a summary of their outreach ministries over the last quarter of 2014, which included feeding programs for poor children, gifts for students, and jail ministry. They also discuss their public preaching, camps and revival meetings, youth and campus ministry, and Christian school. They ask for prayers for their church lot project, Mrs. Pascual's health issues, and their local missionaries. They express gratitude for support from prayer partners.

Prayer letter for the Months of October-December 2014
And when they agreed not among themselves, they departed, after that Paul had spoken one word,
Well spake the Holy Ghost by Esaias the prophet unto our fathers, Saying, Go unto this people, and
say, Hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and not perceive: For the
heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed;
lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and
should be converted, and I should heal them. Be it known therefore unto you, that the salvation of
God is sent unto the Gentiles, and that they will hear it. Acts 28:25-28
To All Brethren in Christ,
The purpose of this newsletter is to provide our prayer partners some information on the
work entrusted to us by God here in the Philippines. May God richly bless you with
encouragement as you read our report.
Our Outreach Ministries
Feeding Program and Gift giving for Children
This last quarter of the year our Church and
School here at Tarlac City extended its help to
some 100 poor children in two different areas
in our City. With some rice soups and juices
we provided a little relief to their starving
stomach. We did this to two areas in our place
and plan to do this regularly. It is a joy to see
that our efforts as we shared them gave big
smiles and comforts in young hearts. It
encouraged us to do more and increase our
efforts to feed more children in our City.
In separate activity we have also shared some gifts to a public Elementary School with 300
students. We surprised the School with our visit. We brought some gifts for the kids for
selected students only. We make sure that the gift expressed the love of God last Holiday
Seasons.
Jail Ministry
Our Prison Ministry group rejoices with the fruit of our evangelism and discipleship at Tarlac
Provincial Jail. Bro. Ronaldo Mariano a former inmate now a faithful member of our church.
Pray for him that the Lord will help him unite with his family and bring them to the truth.
2. Please continue for his spiritual growth. May God help him find a good job that will not
hinder his Christian service. In the midst of 700 prisoners we are ministering to 30 faithful
attendees in the jail. This group regularly attends our services. I believe God will use the
Bible lessons to strengthen and equip them. We are requesting your prayers for these men.
Public Ministry
We are privileged to preach in 2 public
cemeteries during a Catholic All Saints Day
celebration last Nov. 1. Thousands in our city
observed this pagan practice and went to
public cemeteries light candles, pray for their
dead and stayed day long. We grab this
situation handed out thousands of tracts and
preached death, hell, salvation, judgment and
against purgatory. One Group of Muslims noticed us. They too were passing out their
literatures and dare to challenge us in a debate but I just ignored them. That day was a
victory.
In our weekly spot we regularly preach with some
of the Bible Students in a corner near 4 big schools
and university campuses. Philippine Public
Ministry is a ministry that should not neglected or
should be learned by Bible believing churches if
they don’t have one. By preaching the gospel
outside you can reach their ears and their hearts. I
have seen through the years that this ministry
could cover wide range of unbelievers. It is a vital
instrument to mold our men into moral backbones of our church. Our men, Bro. Arlon
Sangalang, Bro. Bon Maniego and Jun Villanueva can testify how our street work increased
their faith and joy in serving to God.
Camps and Revival Meeting
Last December 25-27 we had a camp at the
mountainous cold area of Taloy Sur, Tuba, Benguet
30 minutes away from Baguio City. Our “Baptist
Blow-out” was held at the Bible Believers Camp
site. About 200 delegates from different Bible
Believing Churches attended d the Camp. It was
led and organized by Pastor Ismael Sanchez for
many years and done annually. Many saints were
revived and blessed with the KJB 1611 preaching
and Old fashioned Christian singing. My family was able to render our special numbers.
3. Last December 30 in our church here at King James Bible Baptist Church we had a one
Revival Meeting with Pastor Jerry Salvador as our guest preacher. The message was taken
from 2 Timothy 3 he expounded the evil of our time and the danger of it. The Lord blessed us
with good attendance and good spirit to take heed of these warnings. That night we had a
national evangelist a former Muslim gave his testimony how he got saved.
Youth and Campus Ministry
Tarlac City, Tibag High School
Another door of opportunity was opened to us
here in Tarlac City. It is at Tibag High School a
public school with 1, 200 students. We asked
permission to the Principal if we could teach the
students with values education in every section
and level. Our request was granted and right
now we have preached to almost every room of
the Campus, witnessed to about 600 students.
We hope that we could reach the next 600 students till the closing of the classes.
Christian School
The Lord entrusted us to take care of 55 young minds in our Christian School to teach them
the word of God and reach out their parents. We already finished with the half of the School
Year. The parents and students enjoyed our end year party we had. We exchanged gifts and
had some games. A good lunch was served and prizes were given to raffle draw winners. We
did these to encourage them and enjoy the then on going Holiday seasons.
The Bible Institute housed by our church which is
headed by Pastor Ismael Sanchez is doing fine.
We are done with our first Semester. There are 17
students enrolled this 2nd Semester in our Bible
School. Through the years Staff of this School
Pastor Jerry Salvador, Pastor Ramon Razon,
Pastor Noel Sinamban, Pastor Ismael Sanchez and
myself are instrumental to train men and women
in the Lord’s work. Thank God for this great
opportunity.
Prayer for Missions and Missionaries
Continue to pray for our local missionaries in the field. God opened doors to new fields and
erected some Bible believing local churches here in the Philippines. Pastor Rey Gulloy from
our church and also a graduate of the Bible Institute pioneered a work in Agoo, La Union
now an organized and independent church. It was a blessing to see that God’s hand is with
this small church. Now they are now buying a lot for the church and praying that God will
also call young men from them. Please pray for Bro. Jhervin Medallon in Marindoque Island
4. because he has some hard time in building a Bible believing work there. Marindoque is a
solid Catholic stronghold known for its Moriones Festival a Catholic pagan feast during
Lenten season where hundreds of thousands of devotees observed it yearly.
Prayer Matter
I would like to ask for some prayers for our Church Lot project. In our desire to expand our
space we acquire a mortgage for our church lot. It is a 11 year contract. We are finished with
our 2nd year and this January we are starting on our third year payment. I pray that God will
continue to supply the funds till we are done with it.
I would like you to pray for my wife’s health. After
clinic a pulmonary problem was seen related to
asthma She is now undergoing medications and her
doctor told her to refrain to from dusty areas, animal
hides, smoke, flowers, fibers, etc. which will limit her
to move around and work with freedom. I hope and
pray that this would not be permanent.
Thanksgiving and Praise
I would like to thank for all your prayers and support
to our ministry. Only eternity can tell us how it was
used by God to save many souls from eternal
condemnation. Please receive our big gratitude to all
who shared and prayed for our needs. May this year
2015 be a big blessing to our partnership and continue
to use our joint effort to change lives and bring joy to many Filipino homes.
Yours in Christ,
Jonathan L. Pascual and Family
