This document describes a teacher's use of The Ning platform for a high school geometry class. The teacher uses The Ning to host weekly math journals, PowerPoint slides, allow students to message each other for group work or homework help, and assess students on timely and error-free journal submissions that address the assigned topic. However, the teacher also expresses concerns about inappropriate student comments, excuses for late work, and students paying less attention in class since materials will be posted online.
