This document proposes an app to help solve issues facing Southeast Asian immigrants in Taiwan. The app would have three main functions: 1) an online learning system providing language courses for immigrants and Taiwanese; 2) an immigrants' business promoting platform; and 3) a living information provider. The app aims to benefit both immigrants and locals by addressing education, business, and daily living needs through a comprehensive online platform.

3. Background
 According to the statistics from Ministry of the Interior,
there are several facts that we need to be aware of:
(1) The number of foreign spouses: over 500000(even close to
the number of abriginals in Taiwan).
(2) Most of them are from China, followed by Vietnam, Indonesia
and other Southeast countries.
(3)1/10 of the teenagers under 18 years old are from immigrants
family.
 The current trend has shown an obvious truth that these people
have already been a part of our society. Despite the fact
mentioned above, they are still facing with all kinds of problems
in their daily lives which reflecting the disregard from both
government and people toward this issue.

Besides providing Chinese, Taiwanese and Hakka
language learning courses, the system will also offer
Southeast Asian language teacher online training
programs for the immigrants to choose from.

To serve various Southeast Asian language online
courses.

languages anytime, anywhere. Especially for the
Southeast Asian immigrants, those who need to
take care of children at home may also take part in
our courses and develop new working skills. It will
be useful when they return to the job market after
their children grow up.

The App offers courses vary in difficulty, letting
learners from all levels to fulfill their needs.

 To create a platform which provides daily
information by cooperating with immigrants. This
platform will assist immigrants to start a business
with their specialties. Besides, it can offer the locals
varied living choices.

Taiwanese to know about culture of Southeast Asian
country so as to develop a further bond with them,
and to reach the goal of the New Southward Policy.

 Lack of comprehensive information providers:
Since the information-providing websites for the
immigrants now are all scattered, a more ample one
is what they need.
 The increasing Southeast Asian business starters:
As more and more immigrants are launching their
own business in Taiwan, a business promoting
platform may do a great help to the new
entrepreneurs.

 The New Southward Policy:
 With the growing economy in the ASEAN countries
and New Southward Policy, emerged by the
president-elect, many job opportunities for
Southeast Asian language speakers will definitely
soar. Thus, the Southeast Asian language learners,
as well as the demand of language teachers will
definitely increase.
