The middle colonies consist of New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania,And Delaware
The dutch Founded New York and the sweds Founded Delaware both for trade
New Jersey was given to George Carteret and John Berkley as a gift from the duke
of York.
And William Penn founded Pennsylvania as a place for Quakers to live.
The middle colonies had a great Economy centered around cash crops, Trade,
shipbuilding, and fishing.
3. TRIANGULAR TRADE, NAVIGATION ACTS,
AND QUAKERS
Triangular trade was the trade between the colonies to Europe to Africa.
The colonies gave raw materials to Europe
Europe gave Processed items to Africa and Africa gave slaves to the colonies.
The navigation acts were rules set up but England to regulate trade and give them
more profit. These law added taxes to forging items, and forced everyone to go to
English ports this encourages traders coming to the New World to smuggle their
items.
Quakers were a group of people who wanted things like religious freedom and
peace because not many people liked them in England William Penn a Quaker
founded Pennsylvania as a place for Quakers and their beliefs.
