The “Lamb Roast”
Introduction
This recipe comes from Europe. it's the very popular food on the
Europe countries In Australia, the lamb roast is considered to be the
national dish. Nowadays It's become very popular in Bangladesh also.
Recipe
Ingredients and Measurement
Mutton/Lam Leg-1 (2kg)
Ghee-200gm
Oil-300gm
Prunes + Raisins+ Chillies
Sugar-50gm
Mawa – 2tb
Keora water- 2tb
Sour Yogurt- 1c
onion paste-1c
Garlic paste- 1c
Ginger paste- 3tb
Salt- To taste
Green chilli- 20gm
Coriander powder- 3tb
Garam masala powder- 4tb
Water-0.5c
Procedure
At first wash the mutton leg and cut with the knife into the mutton. Than, boil the leg into the water
for 10 min and keep it separate. Next, take a bowl and put the Sour Yogurt, onion paste, garlic paste,
ginger paste and Salt than mix it properly.
After that, mix the coriander powder, garam masala powder and Water than mix it very properly
and make a liquid mixer.
Than, take the mutton leg and meld the liquid mixer over the mutton leg, than keep it for the 2
hours.
After that, take a pan and heat it than, take ghee on the pan after 2-3 min put it the mutton leg into
the pan. after 10-20 min take the prunes + raisins+ green chili and put it on the heated pan. The pan
will be cover.
After 40 to 50 min it will be ready to serve.
Service
This food is known as main course. It can be serve with different kind of
sauces, like as tomato sauces, chill sauces, BBQ sauces etc.
Conclusion
This food is very delicious to eat. Its also healthy and also fatty food,
because, mutton fills protein on our body and oil and ghee add fat to
our body.
