Shahi Pulao is a vegetarian Indian rice dish that serves 4 people. It contains rice, onions, ginger garlic paste, green chilies, mint leaves, coriander leaves, oil, sugar, and zeera. To make it, the onions are sautéed with sugar until browned, then the spices and herbs are added. Soaked rice is added and brought to a boil before covering and simmering for 5 minutes. Optional fried onions can also be added.
