1) Women with genetic disorders that cause more male hormones do not necessarily have an athletic advantage over other women and some may not even respond to steroids. 2) While men on average are more physically capable than women, at elite levels of training the differences between male and female athletes are smaller. 3) The best female athletes are achieving increasingly similar results to male athletes, so concerns about men impersonating women to compete may be unfounded as any advantage would be minimal.
