    important. What age does the consumer think they behave
    like.
๏ฌ   77% of the population believes their I.Q. is above average.
    Every consumer expects to be treated like a person of above
    average intelligence.
๏ฌ   There is an increase in the belief of things not seen. The
    buzzword is โ€˜spiritualismโ€™.

๏ฌ   The interest in health and well being is sky-rocketing. Thatโ€™s
    why you see a lot more spaโ€™s, yoga studios, etc.
๏ฌ   People now believe they donโ€™t have to purchase things to
    own th experience. A perfect example is cars.

  • 3. Our Ch O Changing Customer i C t ๏ฌ Consumers are in charge and they mean business. ๏ฌ Age is no longer a factor โ€“ chronological age is not important. What age does the consumer think they behave like. ๏ฌ 77% of the population believes their I.Q. is above average. Every consumer expects to be treated like a person of above average intelligence. ๏ฌ There is an increase in the belief of things not seen. The buzzword is โ€˜spiritualismโ€™. spiritualism . ๏ฌ The interest in health and well being is sky-rocketing. Thatโ€™s why you see a lot more spaโ€™s, yoga studios, etc. ๏ฌ People now believe they donโ€™t have to purchase things to own th experience. A perfect example is cars. the i f t l i ๏ฌ There is an increase in the leasing and auction culture. i.e. EBay ๏ฌ There is a significant changing culture of purchasers.

By 2050 white Caucasian people will become the minority. ๏ฌ North America is changing colour It s called colour. Itโ€™s demographic momentum. ๏ฌ Multi-racial population is growing. i.e. Tiger Woods, Obama Woods Obama, Halle Berry ๏ฌ Single households now outnumber married households in North America. ๏ฌ Men are living at home longer then women. Women are also becoming financially independent younger then men.

Viagra, plastic surgery ๏ฌ 60% of the population now does research before they make a large purchase. ๏ฌ P2P โ€“ People to people purchasing has p p p p g become significant because of the internet. ๏ฌ The average person seeโ€™s their time worth $1.25 $1 25 per minute Baby boomers value minute. their time at $2 per minute. ๏ฌ People are now supersaturated with price.

This is their connection to life as they know it. ๏ฌ They think and act differently than any consumer of the past. ๏ฌ They s all The usually get o t of bed at 10 00 am out 10:00 am. ๏ฌ The usually go out to socialize at 10:00 pm. ๏ฌ They don't believe in appointments. They believe in โ€œhere and now serviceโ€'. It's all about real time. service It s time ๏ฌ Theyโ€™ll often call at 10:00 pm to make a rental inquiry. ๏ฌ Lobby renovations are important to them as are amenities and suite renovations. ๏ฌ They love NEW - the NEWER it looks the happier they'll be. ๏ฌ They love the Internet. They love Twitter, Facebook and uTube. They love applications they can download to their iPHONE or y pp y Blackberry.
