This document summarizes Neil Patel's presentation on the future of digital marketing. Some key points include:
1) Marketing is becoming omni-channel, with different channels providing varying returns on investment. User metrics and branding will become more important than search engine rankings.
2) Personalization, such as chat and product tours, can significantly increase conversions rather than traditional tactics like popups.
3) To succeed, marketers need to continuously learn from the best in the industry through mentorship and by analyzing what high performing competitors are doing.

Lead generation presents different challenges than Ecommerce. The sale isn’t made in an instant on a website. We have to offer, show, and then deliver on value through a sometimes lengthy buyer journey, all while competing for our audience’s attention against distractions and competitors and also making sure they’re a good fit for our customer base. In this session, we take a step away from the keyword and bidding strategies and focus on the parts of lead generation campaigns that can help drive higher lead counts, better quality leads, and propel users through to customer.

How Machine Learning is Changing the Landscape of Search, Discovery and Engagement
Today’s consumers have more choices than ever and are less brand loyal than at any point in history. We’ll examine pivotal inflection points driven by consumers that influence search and data discovery. These directly affect what search engines rank and show in results, so you need to know what you can control and influence. Data about your business, products, and services remains one key area under-explored by most businesses, and digital knowledge management is proving to have a deep impact on consumer engagement, revenue, and business success.
Your Email Marketing campaigns have a goal: to bring ROI. To reach this goal, Relevance is key. And Relevance comes from Data. Let’s look at the way to connect this Data to your campaigns, in order to perform better.

Social for lead generation has finally stepped into the limelight, and for good reason. The question of whether or not it can be an effective B2B marketing strategy has been answered with an astounding yes. But now the question remains, “how do I successfully implement social into my overall strategy?”
For those who continue to ignore this question, social will remain in a silo along with a growing list of missed opportunities. For the rest of us, it’s time to drop the philosophical approach and get down to some tactics and metrics that drive revenue. The SlideShare deck above is a goldmine for social marketers. It’s a self-guided visual journey that will enlighten and layout a blueprint for success. Developed over several months and through a tremendous amount of trial and error, we have done the homework for you and laid the groundwork. From building a foundation, to combining inbound with outbound and finally fully integrating social with marketing automation, this is the one stop shop on the road to finally breaking social out of its silo and welcoming it to the revenue table.

When most people in the industry talk about online or digital reputation management, what they're really saying is Google search and PPC. And it's usually reactive, left dealing with the aftermath of negative information published somewhere online. That's outdated. It leaves executives, organizations and other high-profile individuals at a high risk of a digital reputation attack that spans channels and tactics. But the tools needed to safeguard against an attack are more cybersecurity-oriented than most marketing and communications professionals can manage. Business leaders Leaders grasp the importance; 83% of executives place reputation in their top five areas of risk, yet only 23% are confident in their ability to address it. To succeed in 2024 and beyond, you need to turn online reputation on its axis and think like an attacker.

But the tools needed to safeguard against an attack are more cybersecurity-oriented than most marketing and communications professionals can manage. Business leaders Leaders grasp the importance; 83% of executives place reputation in their top five areas of risk, yet only 23% are confident in their ability to address it. To succeed in 2024 and beyond, you need to turn online reputation on its axis and think like an attacker.\

75. Invest in Mentorship & Learn From The Best
If you wanted to climb Mt. Everest, would you just fly over to
Nepal with no training and start climbing without a Sherpa?
It doesn’t have to cost money… you can read blogs, podcasts,
watch videos…
Your competition is spilling all of their beans online. But have you
taken the time to learn from them?
76. The Reality Is…
Marketing never stops. What works today may not work tomorrow,
so the best approach is to keep testing and learning.
You’re going to be overwhelmed with information overload… and
that’s ok, just focus on the low hanging fruit at first.
77. Three Types Of People
Those that make things happen, those that
watch things happen and those that are
wondering what just happened.
I’m not telling you this to brag… it’s more so you know that you’re hearing it from someone who’s been doing this for over 10 years, and helping companies of all sizes grow at the same time as growing my own businesses.
Now before you book your call you are probably wondering why I am doing this?
We know that once we do all of this, that you may want our help to grow your traffic your traffic. And if that’s what you want then we can discuss it and see if it is a good fit for both us.
So what’d you think about these first 3 tactics? These 3 tactics are how I generate most of my traffic. They’re pretty amazing right? Don’t you think this could change a business? Well guess what… I learned a hard lesson about this. In 2014 Mixpanel raised 65 million dollars at at 865 million dollar valuation.
“Wow! 500k visitors? You must be doing 100 million in revenue!” I was only doing 1.2 million in revenue so I was curious as to why he thought that.“What makes you say 100 million?” I asked. And he said “Well my business gets 50k visitors per month and we’re doing 8 million in revenue.” (do a gulp noise or over exaggerated sigh) I went completely silent. I didn’t no what to say to the guy. Eventually I swallowed my pride and told him my numbers. And I’m glad I did because he let me pick his brain to find out what made him so successful. (pause for a moment) And that’s when I realized the real formula is (next slide)?

What the one thing all winners have in common aside from success? If you look at Mark Zuckerberg, Michael Jordan, Michael Phelps, they all had coaches. Go into coaches “They did not do it by themselves” (pause)…they all had mentors
