5 Kingdoms
Kingdom Monera A moneran has only one cell. This cell has no nucleus. Example: bacteria.
Kingdom Protista Some protists have one cell and some have most than one cell. Their cells always have nucleus and other cell structures. Examples:  algae, amoeba.
Kingdom Fungi Fungi have more than one cell and their cells have nuclei. They cannot move They absorb nutrients from other organisms. Examples: mould, mushrooms, yeast.
Kingdom Plantae Plants have more than one cell and their cells have nucleus. They cannot move. They create their own food (photosynthesis). Examples:  trees, flowers, ferns.
Kingdom Animalia Animals have more than one cell and their cells have nucleus. Most of them can move They get energy by consuming other organisms. Examples:  invertebrates, fish, birds, mammals.
