The Egypt GameReviewing the factsQuite interesting really…..
The metaphorIt was in August that seeds were planted in the professor’s yard that would later grow into the Egypt game.
To MeThis Metaphor to me means that the Egypt game was the key to the lock on the professor’s life, later releasing him from the terrible sorrow he lived all the years, remorse and regret in his every thought, slowly becoming as familiar to him as his own heartbeat. It was showing him sad, but happy, remembering the painful death of his wife, while, remembering the strength that he needed to move on.
To my readWhile, it being only a one sentence metaphor, it actually showed me how something so small as, lets say, the Egypt game can and did change the way things had been such a long time.
The PersonificationThe flashlight beam, none too steady in April’s hand, made trash bins crouch and garbage pails lurk, and a length of a hose slither against the wall.
To MeI think, her unclear conscience is making a dash to stop her from getting herself hurt, maybe even killed, telling, yelling, screaming at her to run fast away, back to warmth and safety, and the turmoil of all this may be tearing her to bits, to see what is not there.
To my ReadIt makes me think; know there something to be weary of, to be scared of, to be afraid of.
The SimileA final twist of fragrant smoke curled upward, with the almost flawless motions of a snake itself, so much so it was enough to send more of a shiver down the spines of the Egyptians more than the most frightening thing to ever be witnessed by man.
To meIt shows me that this moment in time was pure dread of what was to come, seemingly ghoulishly enough to shoot pure horror into the deepest comforts of their’ minds.
To my ReadIt is an amazing piece of writing, so much so It had given me such an interested feeling to cause little Goosebumps to roll down my arms and neck. Truly shows how some things had impact the situation at hand, even more so to me. Bravo!
And Now…….
     Morals!
FriendshipWhat makes a good friendship………Well……..You need to Respect your friendsYou need to be nice and kind to your friendsYou need to be loyal to your friendsYou need to be friendly to your friendsYou could have things in common with your friendsWhat do you think?
Family life: the beginningHow do they Impact you?Well……..when your they are always at your side, dressing you, feeding you, playing with you, you depend on them most of the time. When you’re a toddler, you do depend on them, just not as much. They still feed you, cloth you, but you play with your friends, and you can also feed yourself, but not too well. When you’re a child, they still do feed you, but you can eat by yourself, the provide clothes, but you sometimes choose your outfits. Then to playing, at this time you would have friends, an almost complete social life, but still, your family are very important at times. But when you’re a pre teen, they don’t affect your social life at all, and if, barely. They provide all the necessary things needed for a healthy life, but almost all of it is managed by yourself.
But when your not a kid any longer…….
: Family life: in the ending years at homeyou are almost at the age to leave home, when you’re a teenager, your family are very important, yet, not so much. They do provide the basic needs to sustain a happy life, but you don’t always want it, because of human instincts, and creating your own life, you want more space, time and privileges not being treated like a small child. They are important, but you would rather be with your friends at times rather than them.
Adult life: FamilyWhen you are a fully grown adult, life is just starting up, and you have to make your own living. Your family is still there, and you need to take care of them, even if they seem a bit of an annoyance at home or at work. When you are in your elderly years, most of your old family has passed away, and you are the only one left. Your children have had children, and you are now a grandparent. The cycle starts again, just, this time, you have left your little mark.
