This document summarizes a study on the effects of physical activity on adolescent well-being. The study surveyed over 900 adolescents about their physical activity levels and aspects of wellness. It found that increased physical activity was associated with improved friendships, lower stress levels, and greater parent engagement. Physical inactivity and lack of transportation were identified as barriers. The study suggests occupational therapists could address barriers and develop community programs to incorporate physical activity into adolescents' daily lives and improve their overall well-being.
