Mis-en-scene
The mise-en-scene anchors the meaning of the scene, it covers everything
in the scene. There are several shots of Italy showing that the documentary
is set there. There are lots of religious imagry/ artifacts throughout. When
someone is being interviewed, the background changes depending upon
the interviewee to make it fit them, for example, manson is interviewed
backstage at a concert because his whole life is making and delivering
music, and it is his music that has lead him to this trouble.

3. Sound
Narrater is used throughout (non-diagetic). He is male and speaks in standard
english and uses certain ways of saying things to sway and influence the view
of the audience. There is several translaters for when the people are talking in
italian. There is tense music when discussing the court case and when
describing the murder a heart beat can be heard (non diagetic) going from
regular pace, slowing down until it eventually stops. This is very hard hitting
and dramatic. There are also manson songs throughout, either in archive
footage (such as concerts and music videos) or soundbeds.

There are lots of cuts etween the scenes. They ise voiceover with
corresponding imagry.
