My name is Marshia Hollins Salcedo Sams. Pay strict attention to what I am about to say, because I choose my words carefully and I don’t like to repeat myself. I’ve told you my name...that’s the ‘who’. The ‘where’ could most readily be described as a mental prison cell. But, there is a vast difference between being “in” a tiny cell and being mentally, physically, and spiritually in prison. The ‘what’ is easy. Recently I planned and set in motion events to execute the perfect strategic “marketing plan” ...that’s also the ‘when’. As for the ‘why’...beyond the obvious financial motivation it’s exceedingly simple, because I can. Which leave us only with the ‘how’.
And, therein as this slide to success will show us...lies the truth, the whole truth and nothing, but the truth.., so help me God!

BIOROB 2012 - Maneuvers Recognition in Laparoscopic Surgery: Artificial Neura...Robótica Médica UMA
The work presented in this paper is focused on movement recognition as a first step to achieve the automation of a two-arm-surgical-robotic-system in the laparoscopic surgical environment. In order to accomplish coordination between the surgeon and the robotic assistant, a system able to recognize and differentiate between certain standard surgical maneuvers should be developed. Two different methodologies are proposed to model and identify several surgical maneuvers. The first method is based on Artificial Neural Networks (ANN), by codifying the movements through their Fourier spectra and the second one is based on HMMs which represents the interaction between the surgical tools. The proposed approaches will be tested through a set of experiments that mimic surgical movements as in tissue cutting, suturing and transporting. In this way, the recognition system is able to distinguish between the different maneuvers which have been modeled.
IROS 2009 - Minimally Invasive Surgery Maneuver Recognition Based On Surgeon ...Robótica Médica UMA
This paper proposes a new user interface based on a maneuver recognition system, which models the surgeon behavior. This interface includes three different modules: data acquisition and coding, training system and on-line recognition system. The aim is defined as recognizing the surgeon movements while is performing a surgical maneuver, by using a 3D surgical tool tracker. The obtained measurements are converted in to movement symbols by means of a Wavelet transform and a fuzzy clustering. These symbols are used both for training HMM and for recognizing the current maneuver. The system has been tested in some in-vitro experiments performing a fictitious surgical protocol.

Job Search Survival Kit -- OK School's Out, Now What --Anthony Hines
This presentation will give some tips to the recently graduated college student who is about to enter the workforce. It will focus on the skills and networking ability that have already been created and show the reader how to proceed in the job search process.
Who Am I….I am a hardworking guy who, like many others, found himself out of work during the economic downturn in 2010. After a long battle of wrong turns, job search strategies that led to no where, and dead end leads, I decided to take a more strategic approach to my job search. Like anything else in life, I needed to treat my search like a full-time job and create a plan that would allow me to stand out above the competition. This came in especially handy as I was in transition again in 2017. Basically, I just used the tips that I have shared with others and was out of work a total of ZERO days. Yes, I got a job offer the day after my last day at my previous job. Let me show you how I did it so you too can have a quicker landing than you would have had without my tips.
Why Am I Sharing What Helped Me…because I quickly realized that to handle an event like that is to focus on what you can control and share the experience to help others. I believe that an experience not shared is a lost opportunity in life, and that smart people learn from their mistakes and smarter people learn from other people’s experiences. Plus, I told myself that once I figured this out I would share it with others so that they too could navigate the world of unemployment. In these chapters, I show you how I did it so that you will have the confidence to make it through the process. I hope that this presentation helps you to get your next great job.

Stand tall and show the world what you are made of. When the world beats you down, find a reason to get back up again. Never give up on success.
Try, try, try and try again. Feed your mind ideas of success, not failure.
Remember, the only way you can fail is if you give up. Every time you fail, you come one step closer to success.
You are not scared; you are courageous. You are not weak; you are powerful. You are not ordinary, you are remarkable.
Do not back down, do not give up.
When you look back on your life, don't have regrets. Believe in yourself, believe in your future, you will find your way.
There is a fire burning inside you that is very powerful; it is waiting to burn bright. You are meant to do great things.
Following your dreams can be both terrifying and exciting.
Courage is facing fear. Fear of failure holds most people back. You are not most people.
Persist and persuade others about your plans, as they are real. Nobody can do this but you. Nobody will get in the way of our dreams.
Most people master the obvious; you are creating something that wasn't there before. It's bold, it's beautiful, and it's you.
Give it your best, and your dreams will come to life. Success is yours.
Go for your dreams; it is your turn.
Job Search Survival Kit -- Skills Or Jobs That Wrongly Get No Respect --Anthony Hines
This presentation talks about great skills and or careers that, though very rewarding and solid, get little respect. If a person succeeds, no matter how they do it, some respect should be given.
1. The Concept Of Being Rich
I believe being rich is on many people mind and many work their axx off to get to be rich. So was I. I
was thinking of the same thing even before I get to college. Whenever I saw a nice car pass by, I
often wonder what those people do to get rich. To be enjoying those luxury life. Since you are
reading this, I bet you wonder the same.
As I journeyed through college and went to work, the thing with getting rich has always been in my
mind. I spent much of my salary on wealth books and classes. Maybe I got the teaching wrong or
maybe I was too fixated to be my own boss or maybe I was really not the kind of person to work
behind a desk. To follow orders and glue to a chair was never my personality.
But when I first join the make money online industry, I wasn’t told that I need to pay the extra for
marketing, autoresponder, hosting and etc. But I had no choice to continue with the journey
because I was hoping to be rich.
If you follow my blog, AffiliateMarketingBlogMalaysia.com, you will know that I have struggle with
my affiliate marketing business and I have accumulated massive credit card debt during the process.
I even have to drop affiliate marketing and go back to employment to clear my debt.
AffiliateMarketingBlogMalaysia.com Page 1
2. Regret?
Not really.
The truth was, I never really give up trying to make money online.
I kept myself with the business with small baby steps. Mostly putting in my time.
You see, of the 7 years I struggled to make money online and affiliate marketing, I grasped the
concept that you need to invest hard effort and money in order to make money with it.
Now that I am making good money and ready to hit the business again, I am clearer on what I need
to do. I can’t say that I have the full roadmap plotted out but at least I am more prepared compare
to 7 years ago.
The Real Deal...
But the thing I want to point out to you is that in these 7 years with affiliate marketing, I realize this
concept of being rich is more than just buying a Ferrari or Lamborghini or Longines or travelling first
class for holidays.
Those are the things that were painted to you because that was the easiest way to get your
attention.
If you were told from the beginning that you can lead others to financial freedom or pave a better
lifestyle for others? Will you pay for the class?
Unlikely...
In the course of working to where I am today, I realize being rich is about adding value to others life.
It is like an inspiration that they too can achieve whatever they want when they put in effort and
dedication. It is the opportunities I can give to others because I am in the business. It is also about
the future I can build for myself and my family. Most importantly, it is the how I can lead others to
make a positive change to their life.
I can still remember there was this incidence when I was waiting for employment, there was this
airline opening and my wife was so excited that she said if I got the job, then we could have 40%
discount to wherever we want. At that time, I thought to myself why are we so eager to get the 40%
discount when we can pay full for a 1st class travel to anywhere we want when we are rich? Of
course I just kept it in my heart because I knew my wife was always a person looking for security.
I once read that rich people found security or comfort in uncertainty. I can truly relate. Because
when you are in a state of comfort, you are likely to operate in the limiting circle instead of
venturing out yet it is venturing out that you will have more experience, opportunities and
networking.
In short, to be rich, you need to look beyond the physical.

3. It is not just about the figure.
Prioritize Your Purpose
That's why you need to start your affiliate marketing business on the right purpose.
I am a recent father. To be utterly frank, I want to give the best to the little one. I believe every
parent want to do the same whether rich or mediocre. But what I really want to give to the little
baby is a platform where he can excel when he grow up.
Too many times have parents told their children to study hard, work hard and earn money for the
hard work.
While I support education, it is not just for him to get a good job. The education is for him to acquire
the foundation to his future.
I know there is no need to trade your energy and trade your time behind a job you dislike because I
make money with affiliate marketing. I want him to at least get his degree because this is how the
world works. Strange enough, this capitalism world we live in recognize a piece of paper over what
you can really do.
If you were to go to a networking session, shake some hands and tell them you are not a university
graduate, surely you will get some eyes rolling. Even though you are making better money than
them. They might think you are with some kind of scam and is there to con them.
That piece of paper speaks credential.
That’s why I need the little one to at least get the degree. After that he is free to go whatever he
passion because he has the knowledge to make money whenever and wherever he wants instead of
stuck behind a desk.
That’s why as the father, I need to take the dive, walk down the path so that I can lead him on the
same route in the future. If I was never successful with affiliate marketing and force him to go down
the road, it is just not fair.
So when you are despair about your business and income, look back into why you really want to be
in affiliate marketing. That could be your motivation to stay in the business or even push you
forward…
To your affiliate marketing business,
Michael
