All pretreatment processes prepare textiles for downstream applications.

PRODUCTION CAPACITIES & INFRASTRUCTURE
The company initially began operations as a small synthetic yarn spinning unit, with
just about 12480 spindles. The company has a track record of expanding,
modernizing and diversifying its activities from time to time keeping in view the
increasing demands, quality aspects, changing market requirements, etc. Gradually
it increased its spinning capacities piecemeal in the years 1985, 1990 and 2000.
The Company launched its initial fabric weaving facility in 1992 with just 24 looms
by setting up a state-of-art weaving plant to manufacture quality fabrics. Today we
have grown with built up operational activity of about 253 looms.
Not to forget we also developed simultaneously one of the most Modern Process
houses with latest state-of-art machinery required as preliminary infra structure to
realize our dreams.
Thereafter the Company went up on its vertical growth initiative adding another
feather to its cap, by setting up a readymade garment division in the year 2004.
Taking advantage of the benefit of TUF scheme, company went up for a massive
increase in capital expenditure after March 2005.
As such, by now the company has become a full scale composite plant to deliver the
complete package solution, starting from the fibre to the readymade garments. The
Company today enjoys the enviable status of being able to deliver around 30 million
meters of all kinds of fabrics.
SPINNING
Initiative on the Wool front: The Company is in the process of installation of ring
spindles for production of 100% wool and wool mixed yarns. The capacity of the new
poly wool plant is 15000 spindles, capable to produce about 4 MT yarn per day. Full
production on this plant has started from February, 2009. The cost of this project is
Rs. 45 crores. The company is already into the poly wool fabric business, hence it is
proposed to use more than 50% of the wool and poly wool yarn production capacity
of this unit for our own in-house fabric production. Now the company will be able to
deliver full suits made out of its own yarn and fabric.
At present the Company has a total of 133588 Ring spindles in its profile. We plan to
increase this capacity to 137992. Further we also have around 576 Air Jet Spindles.
