Know Everything About Artificial Intelligence
AI involves machine learning, deep learning and many other programmable capabilities.
Let’s know all about the AI.
What is AI:
AI is intelligence exhibited by machines AI systems seek to process or respond to data in human-like ways.
AI can be seen at:
1. Marketing- Here AI analyze buyer’s behavior and provide best products & deals to them.
2. Predictive systems- These AI are made to look at statistical data and form valuable conclusions.
3. Editing Softwares- Here AIs suggest the ways that can be used to make pictures and texts more attractive.
4. Research- Research AI search through complex documents and studies for specific information at the speed higher than Google’s search engine.
How safe are they:
• Artificial intelligence right now don’t have ability to make truly independent decisions
• They can’t do anything beyond the instructions provided to them
• But, the predictions through AI can be inaccurate & that can be dangerous
Future of AI:
• We can see the rapid adoption of AI tricks in every field of tech.
• Once quantum computers become more viable, AIs will have access to unprecedented processing power and human-like AIs will become more viable.
• There are various apps & softwares that can be improved with the help of AI

India's AI Revolution Powering Change & Innovation.pdfAmit Kumar
India's tech world is buzzing with excitement, and it's all about Artificial Intelligence (AI). This powerful technology is changing everything around us. Imagine robots delivering your food, or smart software helping doctors and teachers do their jobs better. AI is making this happen in India right now! This article isn't just about the cool tech stuff, though. It's also about the people who are making AI work, the companies that are using it, and how India might just become a world leader in this field. So, if you're curious about how AI is changing India, come along and explore with us!
Defining AI:
Imagine a smart computer: Think of AI as a smart computer that can learn and make decisions somewhat like a human. It gets better at tasks over time, adapting to new information and situations.
AI does many things: AI powers the cool stuff you see online! Whether it's finding the perfect song for you, translating languages on the fly, or helping robots navigate, it’s all thanks to different kinds of AI.
Different types of AI: Some AI is focused on understanding language, like when you talk to a digital assistant. Other types are good at recognizing images or making predictions from lots of data.
The goal of AI: The goal of AI is to create systems that can solve complex problems, help businesses run smoothly, and improve our daily lives in innovative ways. It's about building machines that can perform tasks that typically require human intelligence.
AI in Action: You've probably interacted with AI if you've ever asked a voice assistant for the weather, used a recommendation feature on a streaming service, or noticed how your email filters out spam. These are all everyday examples of AI at work.
What is the AI Revolution?
The Global AI Landscape:
• Artificial Intelligence (AI) isn't a new concept, but recent breakthroughs have supercharged its capabilities. In the past few years, AI has progressed from research labs to real-world products and services that impact millions of people every day.
Pillars of the Revolution:
Key AI technologies are driving this revolution:
o Machine Learning (ML): Computers learn from vast amounts of data without being explicitly programmed for every rule. Examples like Flipkart's product recommendations and fraud detection showcase ML in action in India.
o Deep Learning (DL): DL networks, loosely modelled on the human brain, allow AI systems to process complex information in layers. This enables tasks such as speech recognition, used by Reliance Jio for its voice assistant JioSaavn.
o Computer Vision: AI that can interpret visual information from the world, like how we see. Companies like Pixxel utilize computer vision to analyse satellite images for various applications.
o Natural Language Processing (NLP): AI that lets computers understand and respond to human language. Haptik provides NLP-driven customer engagement services in India.

6. Presentation Outline
● The State of AI in Business
● The Challenges of AI Adoption
● The Strengths of India’s AI Ecosystem
● The Weaknesses of India’s AI Ecosystem
● AI as a Force to Drive the Indian Economy
(NOTE: At the end of this presentation, I’ve provided a “Resource”
section to provide deeper resources to everything we cover today)
7. State of AI in Business
● For every 100 “AI companies”, only 10 have any
meaningful traction. Only ⅓ of them even have
credible AI talent
● “Toy applications” are common, and detrimental
to everyone (asking “where can I apply AI?”
instead of asking “how can I drive value?”)
8. Challenges of AI Adoption
● No ML talent in place at most companies
● More importantly, no management structures in
place to:
○ (a) deal with uncertainty of AI applications
○ (b) Deal with the lengthy R/D process of AI
○ (c) getting buy-in from the C-suite
● Many older firms who don’t adjust will go out of
business
11. They could be eaten away by
companies that automate
their work (basic IT services,
customer service work,
human resources work,
payroll, etc…).
3 Scenarios of AI Econ. Impact
They could take their deep
expertise in different
business processes, and be
the first to automate or
augment them with artificial
intelligence.
This would involve taking
their existing expertise in
BPO and IT services and
finding new and better ways
to solve those business
problems with AI and ML
They could stay at the
bottom of the value chain,
relegated to tagging images,
combing through data for
edge cases, training
algorithms, etc (“The nation
of mechanical turks”).
This could pull out of a
“copycatting” mentality (i.e.
being a cheaper version of
some Western business
model), and become the
kind of firms that the rest of
the world references as
“leading” and “premier,” not
merely “less expensive.”

12. The Opportunity for India
Nikhil Malhotra,
Creator/Head, Maker’s Lab
– TechMahindra
● India has an opportunity to capitalize on
it’s data-rich sectors (particularly BPO
and IT services)
● India has an opportunity to climb up the
value chain, offer more value and
capture more profit
● “Fall in love with the problem, not with
the solution” - Nikhil Malhotra
