Psalm 13: Where is God? How long until Jehovah acts? Jehovah’s promises to Abraham remind us that He has a plan and will keep His promises; but on His timetable. We can learn at least five lessons: 1) He’s doing what’s best for me; 2) He’s preparing me; 3) Keep seeking Him; 4) Keep trusting Him; and, 5) Be steadfast and love Him.

What is a kingdom? What characterizes God's kingdom? How is it different from the kingdoms of this world? In what way is the kingdom of God "within you"? How did you become a part of God's kingdom? When will God's kingdom be fully realized on earth? How do earthly powers, or authority, differ from God's? How is God's power evidenced in your life? How would you describe glory? How was God's glory manifested in the Old Testament? Was His glory revealed differently in the New Testament? How is His glory manifested today? These and many more questions are addressed in this study.

There are several lessons we can learn from the life of Abraham as we journey by faith into God's promises. This message highlights some of the important lessons. In our journey of faith we must remember that we are a people in covenant with God, and God is completely committed to us. He will not fail on His side of the covenant.

Abraham’s Road to Renewal
Text: Gen 20:9-10
Intro:
Job 40:8
Ps 51:4
Ps 51:10
I. Self-exaltation- Gen 20:9a
Gen 12:18; 26:9; Josh 7:25; Pr 28:9-10; 2Sam 12:9; Gen 20:11a; Pr 29:25-26; Isa 57:11, 15
II. Vain Imagination- Gen 20:9b
Gen 12:13; 20:11; 17:15, 19; 18:9, 10; 20:2; Rom 1:21; 2Cor 10:5; Luke 1:50-51; Job 40:12; Ps 10:4; Gen 6:5; 8:21
III. Self-Justification- Gen 20:10
Gen 20:12; Ps 50:21; Ezek 18:25, 29
Conclusion:
• Self-exaltation magnifies the creature above the creator.
• Because man thinks he is his own god, he creates his own laws from his imagination.
• Then he finds his own laws do not match his ever-changing desires, so he invents self-justification without Righteousness.

Having investigated in our previous research how rewards can improve workplace situations (whether it’s employee morale and retention, productivity or wellbeing), we thought it was time to turn our attention to solving problems in the workplace. With this report we take a look at the problem of high staff turnover, and what aspects of the employer-employee relationship can make or break staff loyalty.
Recruitment, resignation and HR issues costs British businesses significant amounts in time and money, and unhappy staff will often deliver a poor service.
Crucially, all the rewards and incentives in the world will not make retain staff in the long-term if the working environment or management strategy makes them seriously unhappy.
We hope you will find the findings of this review insightful, and that you will be able to use its findings to increase retention and loyalty in your workplace.

All-Knowing- Dan 2:20-22, 1Ch 28:9
NIV Daniel 2:14-23
When Arioch, the commander of the king's guard, had gone out to put to death the wise men of Babylon, Daniel spoke to him with wisdom and tact. 15 He asked the king's officer, "Why did the king issue such a harsh decree?" Arioch then explained the matter to Daniel. 16 At this, Daniel went in to the king and asked for time, so that he might interpret the dream for him.
17 ¶ Then Daniel returned to his house and explained the matter to his friends Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah. 18 He urged them to plead for mercy from the God of heaven concerning this mystery, so that he and his friends might not be executed with the rest of the wise men of Babylon. 19 During the night the mystery was revealed to Daniel in a vision. Then Daniel praised the God of heaven 20 and said: "Praise be to the name of God for ever and ever; wisdom and power are his. 21 He changes times and seasons; he sets up kings and deposes them. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning. 22 He reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with him. 23 I thank and praise you, O God of my fathers: You have given me wisdom and power, you have made known to me what we asked of you, you have made known to us the dream of the king."
NIV 1 Chronicles 28:9-11
9 ¶ "And you, my son Solomon, acknowledge the God of your father, and serve him with wholehearted devotion and with a willing mind, for the LORD searches every heart and understands every motive behind the thoughts. The LORD works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed. 7 He made known his ways to Moses, his deeds to the people of Israel: 8 The LORD is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love. 9 He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger forever; 10 he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities. 11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; 12 as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. 13 As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him; 14 for he knows how we are formed, he remembers that we are dust.

Renewed in Grace
In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.
Homily: The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity Sunday 2024.docxJames Knipper
Countless volumes have been written trying to explain the mystery of three persons in one true God, leaving us to resort to metaphors such as the three-leaf clover to try to comprehend the Divinity. Many of us grew up with the quintessential pyramidal Trinity structure of God at the top and Son and Spirit in opposite corners. But what if we looked at this ‘mystery’ from a different perspective? What if we shifted our language of God as a being towards the concept of God as love? What if we focused more on the relationship within the Trinity versus the persons of the Trinity? What if stopped looking at God as a noun…and instead considered God as a verb? Check it out…
